Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS), also called Clinical laboratory science, is an allied health profession concerned with the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases through clinical laboratory tests.
Medical laboratory professionals have multiple choices for practice in Hospitals, Nursing homes, Public Health Facilities, and Commercial laboratories. The Professionals also performs equipment validations, calibrations, quality controls or run-by-run assessment, statistical control of observed data and recording normal operations.
