A guest lecture was organized for the students of Management at Pyramid College Of Business & Technology in which Dr.Bikramjit Singh Hundal addressed the students. Dr. Bikramjit Singh is an eminent academician who has 33 years of rich experience in the field of education. He is presently serving as Head, University Business School, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar and has completed 4 research projects, published 80 research papers & moreover published many Books to his credit. He has also attended 76 Conferences & Seminars across the globe.

In his address he discussed the Western and the Indian Ideologies of looking at innovation from the ancient times till the present day. He also introduced the participants to many exclusive examples and challenges in the world economy at large with reference to different conventions and ideas. He further shared his own experiences how and why Western corporations can no longer just rely on the old formula that sustained innovation and growth for decades: a mix of top-down strategies, expensive R&D projects and rigid, highly structured innovation processes.

Dr.Bikramjit Singh drew the students’ attention to the importance of developing effective communication skills for job interviews and encouraged the students to learn to present their strengths with confidence. The students also were introduced to the concept of personal branding which would help them to climb up the ladder of organizations. He encouraged the students to read books.

Dr. Sanjay Bahl, Director and Mr. Navdeep S. Thind (HOD Deptt. of Management) also addressed the students and thereafter gave vote of thanks to Dr. Bikramjit Singh for sharing his views and experience with the students of PCBT Campus & felicitated him with a token of appreciation.
