Adhering to the old adage that one cannot climb the ladder of success dressed in the costume of failure, Pyramid College of Business and Technology, hosted a one day seminar on “self grooming”- an initiative taken by Department of Hospitality.

A team lead by Mrs. Rakhi Ahuja, Centre Manager, Orane International Pvt.Ltd. gave grooming tips and live demonstration on hygiene and beauty tips for female students, which would assist them in good self care and would help them uplift their self image and vanity.

The team cleared students that moderation is the key, especially in the application of makeup and the use of perfume, as these products are used to highlight and enhance a person’s existing beauty and persona.

Mr. Gagandeep Singh, HOD, HMCT also gave his vital inputs on the ways to groom and quickj grooming tips. He also shared the formal dress code in the Hospitality industry and the do’s and don’ts of grooming.

Prof. Jatinder Singh Bedi, Chairman appreciated the much needed inputs of the team Orane and suggested all the students to take keen interest in personal hygiene and dressing up. He further asked the students that a well groomed person is more likeable and perceived as an efficient and organized person while appearing for interviews and in general as well.

Dr. Sanjay Bahl, Director, Pyramid College of Business & Technology shared that at the start of the session it was important for the young adults and future leaders of the Hospitality sector to be engaged in factors on the topic, ‘Self grooming’ that would prove vital to their success in the years ahead.
